Global PhD Fellow in Chemistry, NYU
Thowfik Salam is a Global PhD Fellow at Smart Materials Lab, where he works under the co-supervision of Professor Pance Naumov and Dr. Asif Equbal at the Interdisciplinary Quantum Lab. With a background in synthetic organic chemistry, his research focuses on molecular spin chemistry and quantum information science. He designs and synthesizes chromophore-radical systems and investigates their potential as molecular qubits for future quantum technologies using NMR, EPR, and other time-resolved spectroscopic techniques.
