Graduate Student, NYU
Nurbol Ibadulla is a PhD student in Chemistry at New York University, where he conducts research in Professor Panče Naumov’s Smart Materials Lab. His doctoral work explores organic crystals for batteries and electrochemical energy storage. He brings experience in lithium-ion, sodium-ion, and magnesium battery research, including materials development, cell design, electrochemical testing, and characterization. His earlier work includes graphite anode R&D for lithium-ion batteries at AVESTA (Belgium), developing a sodium-ion battery prototype at Saft (TotalEnergies, France) and researching magnesium anodes during an internship at IPREM (Institute of Analytical Sciences and Physico-Chemistry for Environment and Materials), France.
